Ava spent her entire minor hockey career with the Charlottetown Abbies. Following her high school career at Colonel Gray playing midget boys hockey, Ava found herself in the crease with the University of New Hampshire (UNH) Women’s Division I Hockey Team.

While at New Hampshire, Ava has received Hockey East All-Rookie Team and an impressive .940 save percentage this past season. What makes this more remarkable is Ava’s ability to play so competitively while graduating with a Biomedical Sciences degree in only three years.

Nationally, Boutilier is a two-time invitee to Hockey Canada’s U18 Selection Camp, two-time Hockey Canada National Program Goalie Camp, and, most recently, an invitee to the 2020 National Women’s Development Team’s Summer Camp.

Ava will work to continue succeeding with UNH and eventually attend medical school with aspirations to become a doctor. KidSport looks forward to promoting the program with Ava!
