Happy Manitoba Day from KidSport!

Today we are celebrating our prairie province by sharing one of our favourite stories from our book, Iconic Stories from 150 Years of Sport in Manitoba. This story is near and dear to our heart, a story about a homegrown hero who goes by the nickname The Destroyer. Ever heard of her? We thought so. Desiree Scott has represented Canada on many occasions including her most recent Gold Medal with the Canadian Women's Soccer Team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She is a long-time KidSport Ambassador and role model for youth across Canada. This is her story:
