KidSport Canada, joined by a room full of delegates, kicked off the launch of KidSport Quebec on Thursday March 30, 2023 at Stade Saputo. In the legendary CF Montreal stadium, KidSport Canada introduced the brand to over 45 guests from across the Canadian sport landscape to bring awareness, excitement, and engagement to the newest home for KidSport.
The evening kicked off with an hour of sport networking, followed by a speech from CEO Greg Ingalls who not only thanked everyone for coming, but specifically ensured that KidSport supporters such as Saputo, CF Montreal, RAP and Relate Social Capital were given special recognition. The conclusion of the night saw a special raffle with prizes kindly donated thanks to CF Montreal and Raymond James.
“KidSport Canada is excited to be launching Sport Jeunesse Quebec,” said KidSport Canada CEO Greg Ingalls.
“I spent the last week in the province meeting with partners and volunteers interested in helping us grow the program. It is exciting to see things moving forward so all kids can play in Quebec.”
The launch of KS Quebec sees the first of its kind in the province of Quebec. Long time KidSport Canada National Partner Saputo was named at the founding partner of KidSport Quebec, further deepening Saputo’s commitment to breaking down financial barriers for children to enter sport.
KidSport Canada is currently recruiting for Board of Directors and volunteers would like to be involved with KidSport Quebec.
