In the same year he also made his debut for the Canadian national team in a World Cup qualifier against Belize on Sept. 8, 2015. In 2016, Sam spent the second half of the year on loan with Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Championship, and scored his first professional goal in a League Cup victory over Oxford United.
Sam and his brother Elijah of Calvary FC are both beneficiaries of KidSport which financially assisted us to experience the game we love, and without KidSport, it may have been challenging to achieve. Now, it is only proper to represent the organization that invested in us and removed the financial barriers that otherwise would have prevented us from playing soccer.
