Salim Valji is TSN's Calgary Bureau Reporter. He is originally from Edmonton, has lived in Montréal, Paris, and New York City, and also completed a journalism fellowship in Taiwan. He initially got his start with TSN as a statistician for their regional Montreal Canadiens broadcasts. Prior to TSN, he contributed to the New York Times, ESPN, Montreal Gazette, Canadian Press, CBC, and CTV.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing all sports, traveling, reading, and learning languages.
