KidSport Fort Saskatchewan

We provide grants to help cover the costs of registration fees so that all kids aged 18 and under in Fort Saskatchewan and our surrounding communities of Ardrossan, Josephburg, Bruderheim, Lamont, Gibbons, Redwater and Bon Accord can play a season of sport.


Our chapter accepts applications and administers grants of up to $400 per child/year, for kids who live in Fort Saskatchewan, or in one of the other communities we serve. If you live outside of Fort Saskatchewan area please click on the chapter list to find your local chapter.

2021 Sport Hero Program

  • Being a Sport Hero means leading by example and encouraging others to do the same... Just share how you’re being active on social media, tag your local KidSport chapter, and make sure to use #SoALLKidsCanPlay
  • Be the Sport Hero in your household and get your family active this winter! Show us how you and your family like to exercise during the colder months by sharing a photo, tagging us @kidsportalberta, and including the hashtag #SoALLKidsCanPlay!
  • Skating, skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, going on a winter walk - the possibilities are endless! We want to know how you’ve been getting outside and getting active… use #SoALLKidsCanPlay and tag us @kidsportalberta the next time you post about how you’ve been making daily physical activity a priority!


All funds raised by KidSport Fort Saskatchewan stay in our community to get local kids off the sidelines and into a season of sport. Let’s work together to build strong kids and strong communities!
