ABOUT
KidSport Ontario
Together with our network of 18 local chapters, KidSport Ontario provides grants to help cover the costs of enrolment so that all kids aged 18 and under in Ontario can play a season of sport.
To apply for a KidSport Ontario grant or learn more about the program details, start by finding your closest chapter. If your community doesn’t yet have a local chapter, your grant will come through the Provincial Fund.

OUR Team
KidSport Ontario is made possible thanks to passionate volunteers and our incredible partners. Together we’re making it so no kid in Ontario is left watching from the sidelines.
Sara Restani
Executive Director
With a background in corporate marketing and communications, Sara brings her passion for equitable community sport to the KidSport Ontario team as Executive Director, overseeing the daily operations and growth of the organization. She also wears the hats of Coach, Athlete, Parent, and proud supporter of all things field hockey, both in her local community and at provincial and national levels.
Miriam Jamal
Program Specialist
For the past six years, Miriam has had the absolute joy of guiding young athletes and their families through the application process to secure funding for their registration and or equipment fees. In her role at KidSport Ontario, she works directly sports clubs across Ontario and attends fundraising events to raise awareness of the grant program available for sports participation. As a child who once relied on her community to support her participation in soccer and volleyball, she is forever in pursuit of supporting under-resourced athletes to experience the benefits of sports.
